That’s why this week was bittersweet.
On the one hand, we celebrated reaching 100+ beta testers an incredible milestone for a platform built to support neurodivergent learners. Hitting triple digits means more real voices helping us shape BuddyWithMe into a learning companion that actually understands ADHD, executive function challenges, motivation dips, and everything in between. We’re genuinely grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us.
On the other hand, we know we didn’t show up perfectly for you.
Because usage spiked way beyond what we projected (which, honestly, is an amazing problem to have), our system wasn’t as reliable as it should’ve been. Some of you experienced slowdowns or interruptions. That’s not the experience we want you to have and we’re truly sorry.
Here’s what we’re doing right now:
- We’re increasing our API limits so the platform can handle more learners at once.
- We’re tightening up our scaling infrastructure so growth moments like this don’t lead to service hiccups.
- We’re treating this as a signal that the need is real and that we have to grow our tech just as fast as our community.
